Hey everyone, so it’s been a cool/busy week, finally releasing a couple comics I’ve been working on.

First up is The Brothers James #2. Brian Level (artist) and I actually wrapped this before ECCC in March, where we had it there, but now it’s getting the proper release through the Challenger Comics online store. We’re really proud of this one. Brians art is killer, and Michael Walsh has outdone himself yet again with that cover.

Next up is Ultranova, a one-shot comic I wrote with Chris Peterson on art and Ed Ryzowski on colors. This is a 24-page single issue story, full of sci-fi goodness with some horror in there for good measure. I’m really, really happy with how this turned out, the artwork is amazing, I’m so lucky to be able to work with Chris and Ed. This comic is my love letter to Kubrick and also to chimps sent into space.

And lastly, but not leastly, we finally put out Tiger Lawyer #3! I’m so excited for this one, as I feel it’s our best issue yet. Once again, the book has two stories, one by Matt McCray, one by Vic Malhotra and Adam Metcalfe. We wrap up the White Tiger arc on the noir side, and the comedy side is a flashback story with Tiger in Harvard Law in the 80’s. It’s a whopper at 36 pages, and has two amazing covers thanks to Michael Walsh, and the incredible Evan Shaner.

I’ll have all three of these comics for sale this weekend at the Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo. I’ll be at table P05 with Vic Malhotra. I’ll also have copies of my very first anthology, Bloody F**king Revenge. It’s a real beaut, with 80+ pages of all of my shorts from Challenger Comics. That will also be available online for purchase next week.
